"President Obama needs to vacate the White House immediately. The residence needs to be made ready for the his successor," explained Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has vowed not to allow Obama to fill the vacant seat on the Supreme Court following Justice Antonin Scalia's death.
McConnell continued, "The complete interior of the White House needs to be freshly painted. There are a ton of other things that need to be sorted out, too. We need to assess how much damage President Obama's Portuguese Water Dog, Bo, has done to the White House. That will take months."
"President Obama not only needs to leave the White House as soon as possible, but he must also stop using Air Force One. Both need to be made ready for me," declared Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, who told Obama to "read the Constitution."
Republican presidential candidates U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida agreed with Trump that President Obama should leave the White House immediately, but disagreed on who would be living there next.
President Obama laughed when asked for comment on the latest Republican demands and interpretations of the Constitution.
