WASHINGTON (The Nil Admirari) - Today, a TNA survey found Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was surging with Americans harboring low expectations and no ambition for a better future. Clinton held a dominant lead over her primary rival - U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont - with the support of 87% of Americans who expected no improvement in their circumstances while she was president.
"Secretary Clinton is crushing Senator Bernie Sanders with Americans expecting nothing and holding no ambition for a brighter future for themselves, their children, and their fellow Americans," explained Senior TNA Researcher Dick Schneider.
Schneider continued, "87% of these Americans think it would be fine if Hillary Clinton was president. They also said it would be fine if someone else was elected president, too. Most of these Americans were just extremely indifferent."
"Hillary's most ardent supporters with low expectations did respond positively to the slogan 'No We Can't,' which referred to Clinton refusing to support policies like universal healthcare and breaking up the banks," stated Schneider.
An unidentified member of the press asked Schneider if there was anything Sanders could do to improve his standing with Americans harboring low expectations and no ambition for a better future.
"He could stop supporting policies that would improve the lives of hundreds of millions of Americans," replied Schneider.
